Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia and, as no known cure has been found, more funds are needed to pay for research into finding the cause. It is rare for anyone not to be touched by this dreadful condition at some point during their life, be it family or friends.

As this condition has touched my immediate family I am very aware of how the very essence of a person's being can be taken away. Research needs to find a way through.

I pledged to donate 20% of all money I received for sales to this worthy cause and one close to my heart. The total money received for patterns and tutorials has now been donated after reaching my target of £1000.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and helped me to achieve it. 

And soon, I will be donating a percentage of my sales to another cause close to my heart...
