'Nordic Blue' pattern

This pretty pattern was inspired by my recent trip to beautiful Norway. I have used a dark blue and white for the pattern colours.

This pattern is for peyote with a twist - not crochet.

You will need experience of working peyote as well as the peyote with a twist technique. This relatively new technique was devised by Gerlinde Lenz and lends itself to many beautiful patterns.

The bangle shown has been made with Miyuki rondelles size 11. It has a circumference of 14 beads with a double column seam.

Please note that this is for the pattern only.  It is NOT a tutorial for making the bangle as everyone's wrist size is different. I do not give instructions for finishing the work. Tutorials for closing the ends of your peyote rope and peyote end caps, etc can be found on youtube, as can the technique for peyote with a twist. I have also produced videos on youtube showing the process of closing a tube to make a bangle.
