'Bands of 15 - Diamond' bangle pattern

This is a slightly more advanced pattern and is the third in my 'Band of 15s' series.

I have used size 11 miyuki rocailles as the base for this bangle but the bands are size 15s. It gives a slightly different texture to a rope made only with size 11s.

I have stated this as a slightly more advanced as it is a little tricky to place the 15s and keep within the pattern. But if you concentrate on the beads in which to place your needle you should be ok.

You can, of course, use 11s throughout although you will not get the same effect, just the pattern. 

I have given instructions to complete the bangle but you can also make a bracelet with clasp or necklace.

The peyote rope has an 10 bead circumference and has a double column seam. 

My pattern is made with white, black, red and muscat (the gold coloured bands).

You will need experience of working peyote as well as the peyote with a twist technique.

This relatively new technique was devised by Gerlinde Lenz and lends itself to many beautiful patterns.
