Twistmas Dreamcatcher decoration

To make this sweet little decoration I have combined my love of peyote with a twist - not crochet (peytwist) with my love of dreamcatchers. This is quite a simple design but I think it works beautifully.

The dreamcatcher measures 48mm in diameter. The donut is made using a peytwist donut of a 9 bead circumference with single column seam.

I include instructions for making the donut and the 'web' to make the dreamcatcher with diagrams over 5 pages.

I have used a blue, white and gold theme as a change from the normal Christmas colours with beautiful blue Preciosa fire polished crystals.

You will need experience of working peyote as well as the peyote with a twist technique.

This relatively new technique was devised by Gerlinde Lenz and lends itself to many beautiful patterns and I love to experiment with it.
