'Jigsaw puzzle' pattern in Autism colours

As a former Special needs co-ordinator working with children with ASD, I am proud to be able to offer my pattern for you.

This pattern is for peyote with a twist - not crochet.

You will need experience of working peyote as well as the peyote with a twist technique. This relatively new technique was devised by Gerlinde Lenz and lends itself to many beautiful patterns.

The bracelet shown has been made with size 15 Miyuki rocaille seed beads and is of a jigsaw puzzle pattern with a 20 bead circumference and double column seam. The colours are merely a guide for you, but remember, if you change colours, to stay with the correct placement of the colour in the pattern or it will not work. You can also make the pattern up with size 11 seed beads and this will make a nice size flat cuff bracelet.

Please note that this is for the pattern only.  It is NOT a tutorial for making the bracelet. I do not give instructions for finishing the work. Tutorials for closing the ends of your peyote rope and peyote end caps, etc can be found on youtube, as can the technique for peyote with a twist.
