Pattern: Commissions, conversions, requests

Pattern commissions:

From time to time I am asked if I will design a particular pattern in peytwist. Not all patterns are suitable as the very nature of peytwist makes life difficult! However, I will do my best to find a solution. I will do a search to find out if the pattern you would like has already been designed. Having designed your pattern, if you are happy with the sample, I will go ahead and provide you with a pdf including a photo sample, graph, word chart and beads used.

Conversions:

I am often asked to convert a bead crochet pattern to peytwist. Firstly, I will never convert without the permission of the designer. It remains their property and if you would like me to use their pattern I will need proof that they have allowed it. Very often they will say that it will not be for distribution or for profits, so you will need to honour that and ONLY use it for yourself. ISecondly, I will charge for the conversion, as it will take hours of my time. I will show the conversion first, after making a sample to show you. Please bear in mind that peytwist patterns are designed and made up in a totally different way to bead crochet. So you will never get the exact same layout. But I can make it as close and recognisable as possible. Lastly, if you are happy with the sample I will go ahead and provide you with a pdf including a photo of the bead crochet design, a photo of my conversion, graph, word chart and beads used.
